George is a seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience in the BFSI industry, recognized for his strategic acumen and ability to drive innovation. As the Co-Founder & Business Head at Mindgate Solutions, George leads the company’s overall business, strategic vision, client engagement, and profitability, ensuring its solutions empower businesses and individuals in the evolving digital payments landscape.

Since co-founding Mindgate in 2008, George has played a pivotal role in transforming the payments ecosystem. Under his leadership, Mindgate processes 1 in 5 real-time payments globally and handles over 8 billions transations monthly. With a team of 1400+ professionals, the company has established a strong presence in India and is now focusing on global expansion into key markets, including UAE, ASEAN, Europe, UK, and US. Mindgate's vision is to become a global leader in digital payments within the next few years.

Prior to this role, he held the position of Business Head at ByzanSystem Pvt Ltd, where he played a pivotal role in building strong customer relationships and driving revenue growth through robust sales strategies. With a postgraduate degree in Business Management from IIM Indore, George is dedicated not only to professional success but also embraces fitness, reflecting a holistic approach to life.

George Sam, in addition to his illustrious career in the BFSI industry, has demonstrated a commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship by investing professionally and personally in numerous incubator series startups. He actively seeks new avenues for investment, focusing on driving growth and contributing to the betterment of the nation.

Furthermore, George is an enthusiastic world traveler, with extensive experience exploring diverse cultures and landscapes. Despite his global adventures, his heart remains deeply connected to India, often journeying to remote areas to witness the majestic Indian tigers in their natural habitat.

As the Co-founder and Chief Architect at Mindgate Solutions, he is responsible for all product architecture along with strategic technology decisions for all the business verticals. Being a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the fintech industry he has been pivotal in scaling Mindgate as the go to partner for all digital transactional needs and innovations.

Before co-founding Mindgate, Guhan served as a Software Architect at Byzan System Pvt Ltd., where he led significant projects including the development of internet banking and payment gateways for numerous international banks.

Guhan adopts a collaborative leadership approach, emphasizing company growth alongside individual development. He values teamwork and fosters an environment where innovation flourishes and takes each day a new feat to conquer.

Guhan holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication from the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, India.

In 2008, Along with George Sam, Guhan co-founded Mindgate with a vision to simplify and secure digital transactions. Today, Mindgate processes 1 out of 5 real-time payments globally and approximately over 50% of the country’s UPI transactions.

Guhan enjoys investing in various startups, especially ones aligned with the global payments landscape. He believes in the “Make in India for the World” approach, driving innovation and excellence within the digital payments’ ecosystem. He actively seeks opportunities to support innovative ventures that contribute to the advancement of the fintech industry.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Guhan enjoys traveling and participating in extreme adventure sports. He believes that this allows him to step out of his comfort zone while embracing new experiences and challenges.
